This privacy policy governs your use of the software application PERSUS (“the Application”) for mobile devices that was created by Persus Corporation. PERSUS is a mobile application that measures your level of personal sustainability based on your personal knowledge and participation level, using the sustainability indicators described in the United Nations Global Compact.

  1. For What Purposes Will We Use Your Personal Data?
    The personal data that we collect from you will be used for the following main purposes, which are necessary for the proper functioning of the Application and the services it offers:
    To verify and confirm your identity, your username and your password within the Application.
    To confirm your legal age and capacity to accept this Privacy Policy.
    To show you advertising and personalized advertisements within the Application.
    To send you information regarding the Application, as well as modifications to this Privacy Policy.
    To send you relevant newsletters from Persus.
    To generate statistical data that are used to understand your interaction with the advertising presented in the Application.

In case you do not want your personal data to be processed for these Additional Purposes, you can delete the Application and send us a message to asking us to delete permanently your personal data.

  1. User Provided lnformation
    The Application obtains the information you provide when you download and register the Application. The registration process is mandatory in order to be able to use the basic features of the Application. When you register with us and use the Application, you generally provide:
    (a) your name, email address, age, user name, password and other register information (b) information that you provide us when you contact us for help; y (c) information that you enter in to our system when using the Application, such as contact information and other information that may relate to your tastes and preferences about digital content, your social network friends, age, gender and other personal information. We may use this information you provided us to contact you with important information, required notices and marketing promotions.
  2. Automatically Collected Personal Data

In addition, we inform you that the Application and the Persus web page use cookies, web beacons and other tracking technologies, through which it is possible to monitor your behavior as an internet user, as well as provide you with a better service and experience when you use the Application and browse our web page. We will use the personal data that we collect through these technologies for the purposes indicated in this Policy.

The personal data that we obtain from these tracking technologies are the following:

Identifiers, username and passwords

User preferred language

Region in which the user is located

Date and time of the start and end of a user session

Web pages visited by a user

Searches made by a user

Advertising reviewed by a user

Lists and consumption habits on shopping pages

The location of the user

Other information provided by the user’s mobile phone and web browser including the phone number and contacts. 

Additionally, the Application may collect some information automatically, including but not limited to: the type of device you use, the unique identifier of your device, the IP address of your device, the operating system of your device, the type of browser that uses, and information on how you use the Application.

  1. Does The Application Collect Precise Real Time Location Information Of Your Device?
    When you visit the Application, we may use GPS technology (or other similar technology) to determine your current location in order to determine the city in which you are located and to present you with a map with relevant advertising. We will not share your current location with third parties for purposes other than to provide more relevant advertisements. If you do not want us to use your location for the purposes described, you must turn off location services for the Application through your account settings and / or through your phone settings.
  2. Do Third Parties See And/Or Have Access To Information Obtained By The Application?

Yes. We will share your information with third parties only in the ways described in this Privacy Policy. We may disclose Personal Data You Provide Us and Personal Data We Collect Automatically:

As required by law, for example, to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process;

When we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;

With trusted service providers who work on our behalf, who do not have independent access to the information we disclose to them, and who have agreed to adhere to the policies described in this privacy statement.

If Persus Corporation is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our assets, you will be notified by mail and/or a prominent announcement on our website of any change in ownership or uses of this information, at as well as about the options that you may have with respect to your information.

  1. Automatic Data Collection

We may work with data analytics companies to help us understand how the Application is being used, such as the frequency and duration of sessions. We work with third party advertisers and ad networks, who must know how you interact with the advertising provided on the Application. This helps us keep the cost of the application free or low. Advertisers and third-party ad networks use some of the information collected on the Application including, but not limited to, the unique identifier of your mobile device and your phone number. To protect the anonymity of this information, we use encryption technology to ensure that third parties cannot identify you personally. These third parties may also obtain anonymous information from other applications that you have downloaded to your mobile device, the web pages you visit, non-exact information about your location (for example, your zip code), and other non-exact location information for be able to analyze and serve targeted advertising on the Application and elsewhere. We may also share encrypted versions of information that you have provided in order to allow our collaborators to add other information available about you for analysis or other uses related to advertising. We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our website or use the Application. These companies may use aggregated information (not including your name, address, email address, or telephone number) about your visits to this and other websites in order to serve advertising about goods and services of interest to you.

    You can easily stop the collection of information by the Application by uninstalling the Application. You can use the standard uninstall system processes as provided by your mobile phone or through the mobile application marketplace or network store that you use.

You have the right to know what personal data we have about you, what we use that data for and the conditions of use that we give them (Access). Likewise, it is your right (i) to request the correction of your personal information if it is outdated, inaccurate or incomplete (Rectification); (ii) that we delete your personal information from our records or databases when you considers that it is not being used properly (Cancellation); as well as (iii) the right to oppose the use of your personal data for specific purposes (Opposition). These rights are known as ARCO rights.

We will retain the Personal Data You Provide Us for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. We will retain the Personal Data We Collect Automatically for up to 24 months and then we may retain it in aggregate form. If you would like us to delete the data that you have provided to us through the Application, please contact us at and we will reply to you in a reasonable time frame. Please note that some or all of the User Provided information may be required for the Application to function properly.

    We do not use the Application to knowingly collect data or to show advertising to children under the age of 13. If you are the parent of a minor under the age of 13 and you realize that your child has provided personal data without your consent, you should contact us at We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.

We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The privacy and security of your personal data are of fundamental importance to us. We provide electronic and procedural safeguards to protect the information that we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized personnel and contractors who must know the information to operate, develop or improve the Application. Please note that although we do our best to provide reasonable security for the information we process and maintain, no system can prevent all types of potential security breaches.

It is possible that we may change this Policy from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of changes to this policy by posting a new policy here. We recommend that you consult this privacy policy frequently so that you are aware of the changes, since continuing to use the service is interpreted as an approval of the changes.

Right to know request. Under the CCPA, you have a right to request information about our collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information over the prior 12 months, and ask that we provide you with the following information:

Categories of and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.

Purposes for collecting, using, or selling personal information.

Categories of third parties with which we share personal information.

Categories of personal information disclosed about you for a business purpose.

Right to delete request. You also have a right to request that we delete personal information, subject to certain exceptions. You may exercise your right to delete by logging into your account on a desktop and selecting “Close Account”.

Household requests. We currently do not collect household data. If all the members of a household makes a Right to Know or Right to Delete request, we will respond as if the requests are individual requests.

Requests, generally. ·Please note, if you do not have a PERSUS account that was created with a valid email address we will not have enough information about you to verify your Right to Know and Right to Delete requests. You may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information twice per 12-month period. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights under the CCPA.

Requests made through agents. You may designate, in writing or through a power of attorney, an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf to exercise your rights. Before accepting such a request from an agent, we will require the agent to provide proof you have authorized it to act on your behalf, and we may need you to verify your identity directly with us.

Sale of Personal lnformation

Under the CCPA, a “sale” means providing to a third-party personal information for valuable consideration. It does not necessarily mean money was exchanged for the transfer of personal information. We have taken substantial steps to identify whether any of our data sharing arrangements would constitute a “sale” under the CCPA. Due to the complexities and ambiguities in the CCPA, we will continue to evaluate some of our third-party relationships as we wait for final implementing regulations and guidance. For example, it is currently unclear whether the use of certain types of advertising partners would be considered a sale under CCPA. We provide Usage Data to advertising partners, which enables us to provide you with interest-based advertising. If you prefer not to receive advertising tailored to your interests, please opt out by going to your device settings and turning on Limit Ad-Tracking / Ads -Personalization.

We will continue to update our business practices as regulatory guidance becomes available and provides clarity on what constitutes a sale transaction, particularly in the advertising ecosystem.
